About Us

The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation strives to support former/retired and fallen first responders, assist current first responders in times of unfortunate crisis, and create opportunity for young men and women with a desire to become first responders with our scholarship program.

Chief Mason Griffith had a passion for helping those in need and we want to carry on his legacy.

The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation would like to grow our scholarship program to promote education for future first responders by increasing the number of schools in our coverage area as well as allowing more opportunity for scholarship chances and higher valued funding.

The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation would like to have funds readily available when needs and unfortunate crises arise for past and present first responders.

The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation would like to continue hosting trainings for current first responders including juniors.

In 2024, we donated over $175,000 to support the families of fallen first responders, as well as injured on-duty and off-duty first responders. Our contributions included scholarships and training programs.

We have been actively involved in the following counties in Missouri: Gasconade, Osage, Maries, Franklin, Warren, St. Louis, Jefferson, Cole, Montgomery, Crawford, Callaway, St. Charles, Lincoln, Boone, and Phelps.

Throughout 2024, we have assisted the following families: Smith, Rendon, Carson, Horn, Bax, Pottorff, Cooper, Lashley, Tobben, Cova, Coppedge, Post, and several others.

Assisting currently in 2025: Dotson, Brown, Young, Cooper, Clevenger, Williams, Lashley, Carson, and we will keep assist as the needs come in.
