The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation is passionately committed to honoring the brave men and women who serve our communities as first responders. We provide critical support for former, retired, and fallen first responders, assist current first responders in times of crisis, and empower aspiring young individuals through our scholarship program. Inspired by Chief Mason Griffith’s deep-rooted dedication to helping those in need, we strive to continue his remarkable legacy.
Our mission is carried out through powerful initiatives:
- We provide vital assistance to first responders facing injuries, accidents, or illnesses, both on and off duty. Our support is designed to bridge the gap when workers' compensation falls short.
- We stand by the families of first responders who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of an immediate family member, including active first responders, spouses, or children. Our goal is to offer comfort and resources during their most challenging times.
- We prioritize mental health awareness among first responders, recognizing it as a pivotal aspect of their well-being.
- Through training programs and conferences, we aim to raise awareness and share the impactful work we do, engaging the community in a meaningful conversation about the challenges faced by first responders and the support available to them.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who dedicate themselves to protecting us. Join us in our mission to uplift and support these heroes and their families.
The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation is dedicated to enhancing our scholarship program to empower the next generation of first responders. By expanding our reach to more schools and increasing both the number of scholarships and the funding amounts, we aim to provide vital educational opportunities that will shape future heroes.
In addition, we are committed to ensuring that financial assistance is readily available for past and present first responders during challenging times and unforeseen crises.
Moreover, we firmly believe in the importance of continued training for current first responders, including junior members, as we strive to equip them with the skills they need to excel in their vital roles. Together, we can foster a stronger and more prepared community of first responders.
In 2024, we proudly contributed over $175,000 to support the families of fallen first responders, as well as those injured while serving on duty or off duty. Our impactful contributions included scholarships and training programs designed to uplift and empower these remarkable individuals and their families.
Currently, we have established three regions encompassing 31 counties, and we are excited to announce the development of our fourth region, the Lake of the Ozark area.
