Current Project Team
On Saturday, August 2, 2026, The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation (TCMGF) invites the community to come together for a special Community Telethon and Fundraising Event in support of the Hermann First Responder Memorial Mural Project.
March 12, 2023, forever changed Hermann and touched countless lives throughout Missouri. Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and Officer Adam Sullentrup suffered life-changing injuries while courageously serving his community. The pain of that night reached far beyond the officers themselves, impacting their families, fellow first responders, friends, neighbors, and an entire community.
Today, we have an opportunity to transform a place once associated with tragedy into a place of honor, remembrance, gratitude, and healing.
The Hermann First Responder Memorial Mural will be painted on the very wall where history unfolded. Rather than allowing that location to remain a reminder of heartbreak, it will become a lasting tribute to every first responder who answers the call to serve, protect, and sacrifice for others.
Throughout the day, our live telethon will feature special guests, first responder agencies, community leaders, survivor stories, family interviews, live entertainment, fundraising updates, auctions, raffles, and opportunities for supporters across the country to donate and become part of this historic project.
Our goal is to raise the remaining funds needed to complete the mural and establish a maintenance fund that will preserve this memorial for generations to come. Every donation—large or small—moves us one step closer to completing a project that represents courage, sacrifice, unity, and hope.
Whether you attend in person, tune in online, volunteer, sponsor the event, or make a donation, you become part of a movement dedicated to ensuring that the sacrifices of our first responders are never forgotten.
This is more than a fundraiser.
It is a community coming together to heal.
It is a promise to every first responder that their service matters.
It is an opportunity to replace painful memories with a symbol of hope that future generations will experience with gratitude rather than grief.
Every dollar raised supports the completion of the Hermann First Responder Memorial Mural, ensuring this tribute stands as a permanent reminder of the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of those who continue to protect our communities.
Together We Remember. Together We Heal. Together We Build a Legacy.
