Isaac succumbed to his injuries on Oct. 15 at 15:35 at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Isaac is the son of WVFD firefighter Brian Lashley, and his loving mother Catie Lashley an ER nurse. Isaac participated in the Jr. Explorer program and is a member of the JROTC at WHS High School. He also attended Union High and FRCC.
All donations are thankfully accepted to assist Corporal Justin Bax in his journey after being shot in the line of duty.
Deputy Pottorff conducted a traffic stop. While attempting to take the felon into custody Deputy Pottorff was shot four times at point blank range. Pottorff is stable, but critically injured.
Osage Beach Police Officer Phylicia Faye Carson, age 33, of Lake Ozark, Missouri died in the line of duty on August 31, 2024. She left behind her husband Grant Carson, a Miller County Sheriff’s Deputy, and their 4 daughters Teighan, Raye, Emlyn, Roma; 2 sons Chevy and Rhenner.
Lisa Horn passed away sadly after her long battle with Cancer. Lisa will be missed by all that knew her. She dedicated her life to the EMS family.
Cova Family: Affton Captain James "Jim" Cova passed away while on duty. A true hero serving over 23 years with AFPD. A loving, devoted husband & father with a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone in need .
Asst Chief Matt Tobben passed during a swift water rescue operation. Matt leaves behind a wife and two sons. Matt also served our local community for several years with the Union Fire Department and was a active member of Task Force 1.
Don Rendon, was a Gasconade County 911 dispatcher suffered from heart complication and passed while off duty.
Don joined Gasconade County 911 team in November 2018. He was promoted to supervisory in 2021. In 2022 Don helped lead the Agency to become ACE Accredited Center of Excellence.
Amy Smith wife of Jonathan a firefighter from Richmond Heights, was diagnosied August 2023 with invasive Ductal Stage 4 Breast Cancer that had metatasis to her liver. Amy have a long Journey ahead of her. Amy has been a nurse and was currently 8 weeks away from graduating with her Nurse Practitioner degree. Amy and Jo
